Made in France

The entire frame was made and assembled in France in a workshop in Oyonnax. The 82 operations required to manufacture a frame were carried out on site, from cutting to polishing.

The finishes and customizations are then carried out in our workshop in Pantin.

Our cases are handcrafted in the Paris area.

Custom hinge

The rivet hinges ensure the solidity of the link between the front of the frame and the temples.

Requiring manual assembly, the Tardy six rivet five prong hinges are custom made to pierce the thick 8MM acetate and ensure the durability of the frame.

Bio-acétate M-49

Our frames are all based on Mazzucchelli's M49 bio-acetate.

Made in Italy, M49 is the first high quality bio-degradable and ecological acetate on the market.

To highlight the material, we only work the thickest acetate plates.

Branch interior

Attention to detail on the inside of the temples is an integral part of Tardy's quality approach.

The Tardy logo machined in Italy is incorporated directly into the right arm. The details of each frame are engraved and painted on the left arm.

To improve wearing comfort, thirteen non-slip ridges per spatula have been engraved.

Four craftsmen, all based in Ile-de-France, have succeeded in making our cases and offering indestructible cases for your frames.

For sewing, we are proud to collaborate with Mode Estime, integration workshop that uses sewing for the purpose of enhancing people and professional integration
